Steve supported Al’s album releases when Al was with Warner Records years ago, and he has continued to do so in his newer career as a radio host. Al Jarreau performs with US Air Force Band February 13, 2012 No CommentAl had a fantastic time this weekend, performing his 2nd concert with the US Air Force Airmen of Note Big Band. The concert, at Constitution Hall in Washington DC, featured some of Al’s favorite songs and some of his biggest hits. He was thrilled to appear on the same stage with all the fantastic musicians in the Airmen of Note, he thanks everyone involved for inviting him to contribute, and he looks forward to the next time. newsShare : Tweet
AL TO MAKE SPECIAL APPEARANCE IN CHICAGO February 8, 2012 No CommentAl has just partnered with Michael Manson, Executive Director of Chicago’s Musical Arts Institute, for a special benefit concert on April 21. Al will perform several songs with Michael’s band, and will share the evening with Gerald Albright, who is also supporting this great, non-profit, community-oriented music school. Al Jarreau and Matia Bazar in Sanremo February 7, 2012 No CommentAl will perform “Speak Softly Love” with the Legendary Italian band Matia Bazar on February 16 at the Rai Uno Sanremo Song Festival.
